I’ve always been told my voice carries. And it’s not because I talk really loud. It’s the pitch. It’s different. It can can soar above the tallest person in the room, reach the back of auditoriums, and the top floor of apartment buildings. Has it gotten me in trouble for talking when or where or about something I shouldn’t? Yes. But I still consider it a gift.
When it comes to advertising, I know how important a brand’s voice is. It’s not about being the biggest or the loudest. It’s about having a voice that stands out, and cuts through the clutter.
